INQUEST is taking part in the London Legal Walk on 16th May - PLEASE DONATE
23 March 2016
On the 16th of May INQUEST will take part in the London Legal Walk in order to raise money to keep supporting families bereaved by a death in custody and detention. We have set an ambitious target of £10k and so encourage you to give generously to help us achieve this.
We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers who are raising funds for legal charities in and around London.
Our team so far is:- Deborah Coles, Raji Hunjan, Helen Shaw, Anita Sharma, Vic McNally, Selen Cavcav, Natasha Thompson, Patrick Hoare, Nelson Manthorpe, Nogah Ofer, Navita Atreya, Jennifer Nadel, Steve Tombs.
Please support our walkers as generously as you are able. All the money we raise will go back into high quality casework. You can access our fundraising page HERE.
‘You have clearly made yourselves a force to be reckoned with, a powerful instrument for good. In the process you have not only achieved real change in an aspect of our common life which would have commanded little attention or esteem were it not for your efforts, but you have at the same time offered enormous support to those bereaved people who long for a clear verdict on the death in custody of someone who means a great deal to them.’
– Dr Peter Selby, President of the National Council for Independent Monitoring Boards
