INQUEST Lawyers running Brighton Marathon to raise much needed funds
18 February 2015
This year leading INQUEST Lawyer’s Group members Anna Thwaites, partner at Hodge Jones Allen in London and Gemma Vine, solicitor at Lester Morrill in Leeds are running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 12 April 2015 to raise much needed funds for INQUEST.
Anna and Gemma volunteer their time already on the INQUEST Lawyers Group steering committee who both work very closely with us and as they say
“we know how the specialist work that INQUEST does has always been hard to fund, and how the difficult external environment has made it even tougher”.
Please make running 26.2 miles a little easier for Anna and Gemma by helping to raise much needed funds. No matter how big or small your contribution it all counts and is greatly appreciated and you can donate here.
Thanks for your support.

‘I was already working with INQUEST, which is the organisation who monitor deaths in custody, and at one AGM I told the audience that what happened to these people [killed in police custody like Chistopher Alder, Roger Sylvester and many others] could happen to any of us. And then a couple of years later, I was standing in front of them again but now it had happened to my cousin. So my family and me were now “users” of Inquest. It shows you that none of us are immune – here am I, Benjamin Zephaniah, patron of INQUEST and client of INQUEST at the same time.’
