 Reform of the inquest system
INQUEST has campaigned for over 25 years to have the archaic coroner's inquest system reformed. The Coroners and Justice Act received Royal Assent in November 2009. INQUEST campaigned throughout its passage through Parliament to ensure that the new Act will tackle the crisis in the inquest system.
